On the afternoon of July 2, 2025, a delegation led by Yue Shunmin, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Electric Power Education, visited our college and held a symposium. Sun Yuanyuan, Deputy Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Shandong University, attended the meeting. Liu Fei, Head of the Higher Education Department of theChina Association of Electric Power Education, Lei Zhiyong, Supervisor, Qiu Yao, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering at Shandong University, Zhang Feng and He Dongxin, Deputy Directors of the Teaching Center, and Zhong Hui, Consultant, participated in the meeting.
During the exchange and discussion session, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as industry-education integration in the power industry, higher education reform, talent cultivation, and industry competitions. The representative of the China Association of Electric Power Education provided a detailed introduction to the association's organizational structure, industry research, and key work plans, and shared information on brand competitions for industry-education integration, industry development reports, and innovative measures for talent cultivation. The college introduced the latest progress in discipline construction, research platforms, education reform, internships, and practical training, and expressed the hope to further strengthen cooperation with the association in areas such as competition activities, journal publication, curriculum system construction, and faculty development. Both sides had full exchanges on issues such as talent recruitment, innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, skills competitions, curriculum system optimization, and career planning, and unanimously agreed that relying on industry associations and university platforms, they should deepen industry-education collaborative talent cultivation, achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, and actively promote the cultivation of high-quality power talents and the innovative development of education.
