The Shandong University Science and Technology Museum is located on the third floor of the Innovation Building in Shandong University's Qianfo campus.
It has a main exhibition area and a military-civilian integration exhibition area, which provides the four functions of achievements exhibition, science and technology exchanges, science education, as well as interactive experiences.
The museum has an area of 1026.9 square meters, showcasing innovation achievements in 20 disciplines in science, medicine, information, and engineering.
Each exhibition hall introduces the achievements of Shandong University in related fields in the past 120 years through exhibition boards. Visitors also can learn about the university's development by watching videos.
In addition, the museum also displays a series of sci-tech models, robots, scientific materials, and other physical objects for visitors to interact.
Shandong University plays a leading role in scientific and technological innovation in China's universities. The museum exhibits the achievements that Shandong University had made in national major projects like space station core module Tianhe, the deep-sea manned submersible Jiaolong, expressway construction, as well as artificial intelligence technologies.
